In Canvas Studio, the GLTF Loader is the all-purpose gateway for bringing modern 3D assets: models, PBR materials, animations straight into your scene with a single drag-and-drop.
type – found under “animation”, this setting selects how the clip is played. Standalone runs a single timeline on a loop; GSAP lets you control the animation with the GSAP tool.
enabled – turns the animation on or off, handy for pausing motion while you adjust lighting or materials.
frame – the current frame marker; drag or enter a value to scrub to a precise moment in the clip.
speed – a playback-rate multiplier (1 = real time). Lower it for slow-motion breakdowns; raise it to create time-lapse energy.
Because the GLTF/GLB format is self-contained and already optimized for real-time engines, the loader doesn’t need extra dials or sliders: you just point it at the file, and Canvas Studio does the rest. You can access this loader by choosing 3D as Element Type in the Elements settings, and then picking GLTF as the 3D Type.
