Load a studio-light HDR for crisp product shots, a moody interior for soft bounce, or a sunrise panorama for golden-hour warmth; then fine-tune your materials so that the effect is just right on every device.
In Canvas Studio, the HDR Loader wraps your scene in a single high-dynamic-range texture ( .hdr, .exr or tonemapped .jpg ) that supplies both the visible sky and the image-based lighting data PBR materials rely on for realistic reflections and ambient bounce. Unlike a six-image cubemap, an HDR file stores full 32-bit float radiance in an equirectangular projection, giving metals sharper highlights and dielectrics richer, more accurate color bleeding.
HDR Image – click the upload button and select an equirectangular .hdr , .exr or tonemapped jpg.
Show Environment – toggles whether the HDR appears as the actual background; disable it if you want the lighting but prefer a solid color or separate skybox.
Reflect Objects – when on, feeds the HDR into the material reflection probes so glossy surfaces mirror the environment.
