Helpers make the invisible parts of a 3‑D scene visible, so you can position objects accurately, align lights, and keep scale in check. Toggle them on while you work, then hide them for final presentation. Every guide is non‑destructive and provides visual feedback and important information related to the element, light, or spatial dimension it represents.
Light Helpers – wire cones, spheres, and rectangles that display a light’s origin, range, and all related properties in real time. They can be toggled on by selecting the light source in the left panel of the Frontend Canvas UI, and clicking on the helper checkbox.
Gizmos – move, rotate, and scale handles that snap to the selected object, letting you transform without guesswork. You can toggle between the type of gizmo and the related action by using keyboard shortcuts: P for position, R for rotation, S for scale. Furthermore, you can switch between Local (L) and World (W) space for transformations and apply the intended transform with the corresponding gizmo. These appar every time an element is selected, either from the left panel, or by directly clicking on them.Â
Axes Helper – a colored XYZ tripod anchored at world origin to keep orientation clear and consistent. This helper can be toggled on by navigating to Axes & Grid Helpers in the left panel of the Frontend Canvas UI.
Grid Helper – a ground plane with adjustable scale for measuring and layout. This helper can be toggled on by navigating to Axes & Grid Helpers in the left panel of the Frontend Canvas UI.
Polar Grid Helper – concentric circles with radial spokes, ideal for radial symmetry, motion paths, or polar coordinate layouts. This helper can be toggled on by navigating to Axes & Grid Helpers in the left panel of the Frontend Canvas UI.
Orbit Target Helper – the orbit target helper, found in the camera orbit settings, is indispensable when freely animating and navigating the scene, by making the center around which every camera action orbits clearly visible for navigation.
Box – the yellow bounding box that appears around selected objects.
Transform Controls – the gizmo that allows you to transform selected elements.
With these helpers switched on you always know where objects sit, how lights influence the scene, and which direction is up. They remove the trial‑and‑error from modeling, lighting, and animation, streamlining every step from blocking out a scene to final polish.
