Iridescence Map

The Iridescence Map controls where and how much an object’s surface exhibits colorful light interference; similar to soap bubbles, beetle shells, or oil slicks. Iridescence simulates how light reflects at varying wavelengths depending on the viewer angle and surface curvature, giving materials a shimmering, color-shifting quality.

The Iridescence Map is a grayscale texture: white (1) applies full iridescence, black (0) turns it off. Use it to localize the effect on edges, surface details, or select design zones, rather than applying it uniformly across the mesh.
