Max Intensity – caps the overall strength; acts as a master limiter for all channel offsets and modulation.
Effect Radius – fades the shift from center to edges; lower values confine the aberration near the center, higher values push it outwards.
Red Offset X / Red Offset Y – horizontal and vertical shift applied only to the red channel.
Green Offset X / Green Offset Y – horizontal and vertical shift applied only to the green channel.
Blue Offset X / Blue Offset Y – horizontal and vertical shift applied only to the blue channel.
Wave Intensity – amplitude of a time-based sinusoidal modulation that animates the channel offsets.
Wave Frequency – speed of that modulation; higher values oscillate faster.
Noise Amount – adds random jitter to the channel offsets for a grittier, analog feel.
Noise Speed – rate at which that jitter evolves over time.
Auto Animation – runs the internal time driver automatically so the effect animates without keyframes.
Auto Speed – playback speed for Auto Animation.
Global Intensity – multiplies the combined shift after all other controls; quick way to push or tame the look.
Edge Intensity – increases separation along high-contrast edges to emphasize outlines
Keep offsets small for tasteful fringing on hero shots, or combine higher offsets with noise and wave modulation for glitchy transitions. Because RGB Shift is a post pass, it layers cleanly with bloom, grain, and depth of field and has minimal impact on scene setup—perfect for dialing in a final, stylized grade.
