Shader Materials in Canvas Studio offer a stylized, dynamic alternative to traditional physically-based materials. Rather than relying on lighting, textures, or reflections, these materials are powered by custom GLSL shaders that generate visuals directly in the fragment shader. Each shader creates its own unique appearance: perfect for special effects, animated surfaces, or interactive visuals.
In Canvas Studio, Shader Materials are applied just like standard materials but do not support external maps or conventional lighting systems. Their look and feel are fully driven by internal logic and uniform controls.
Fire Effect Shader – produces a flickering, animated flame-like texture across the surface.
LED Lights Shader – simulates a grid of flickering light points, great for panels, signage, or sci-fi effects.
Siri AI Orb Shader – generates a glowing central orb pattern with pulsating outer edges.
Orb Audio Lines Shader – forms circular waveform rings, like soundwaves or frequency pulses.
Portal to Psychosis Shader – swirling color vortex that creates a hypnotic, portal-like visual.
Glossy Gradients Shader – animates iridescent-like flowing colors with liquid distortions.
TV Glitch Shader – mimics digital interference and old-school CRT noise for retro or broken-screen aesthetics.
Each of these shader materials includes a small set of controls such as speed, height, width, or intensity, depending on the effect. These parameters animate the shader logic and can be keyframed to evolve over time.
