The TV Glitch Shader simulates an analog signal disruption effect, like a corrupted CRT display or scrambled video feed. It adds noise and static that fluctuate over time, creating a broken broadcast aesthetic perfect for retro, cyberpunk, or any visual style.
baseColor – Sets the underlying tint of the object beneath the glitch distortion. This can shift the overall mood of the flicker.
amount – Controls the intensity of the glitch effect, from mild flickering (low values) to full chaotic distortion.
This shader does not support maps or lighting. What you see is procedurally generated entirely on the GPU. It’s ideal when you want to stylize an object as screen-based or malfunctioning, or signal visual instability in your scene.
